The international workshop „Beyond Victimhood and Stigmatization: Trauma, Ruptured Memories and Agency in the Context of Global Migration“ jointly hosted by the Centre for Global Migration Studies at the University of Göttingen and the Stiftung Adam von Trott, Imshausen e.V. is postponed to 05 – 07 March 2021. The application deadline is extended to 04 September 2020.
We are looking forward to receiving applications from academics from different disciplinary backgrounds (cultural and social anthropology, psychology, sociology…) as well as activists and social workers, who are engaged in the field of migration and mental health.

Am 26.04.2019 hat Katina Schubert (Mitglied des Abgeordnetenhauses von Berlin und Landesvorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE Berlin) von den Bemühungen erzählt eine partizipative Stadtpolitik zu entwickeln, die zu einer offenen, solidarischen Stadt beiträgt.
On 26 April 2019, Katina Schubert (member of the Berlin House of Representatives and regional chairman of DIE LINKE Berlin) spoke about the efforts to develop a participatory urban policy that contributes to an open, solidary city.

Am 26. April haben wir uns in einem ersten Workshop mit allen ProjektinitiatorInnen über die unterschiedlichen disziplinären Perspektiven und konzeptionellen Zugänge zum Themenfeld „Stadt und Migration“ ausgetauscht. Dr. Henrik Lebuhn (Humboldt Universität Berlin) hat uns dabei mit einem Überblick über die aktuellen Entwicklungen im Feld der stadtbezogenen Migrationsforschung unterstützt.
