Der Choreograf Akram Khan sorgt mit «Until the Lions» für die «Produktion des Jahres»
Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker und Alexei Ratmansky sind «Choreografen des Jahres»
Steven McRae vom Royal Ballet ist der «Tänzer des Jahres»
Die Ballerina Sylvie Guillem wird als «Tänzerin des Jahres» gefeiert.
Für eine herausragende letzte Spielzeit unter dem scheidenden Direktor Ivan Liska wird das Bayerisches Staatsballett mit dem Titel «Kompanie des Jahres» belohnt.

Taking into account the votes of 42 international dance critics, tanz has elected the highlights and winners of the 2015/16 season:

«Until the Lions» by choreographer Akram Khan is the critics‘ choice for «Production of the Year».
«Choreographers of the Year» are Khan‘s colleagues Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Alexei Ratmansky, the latter having reconstructed the original «Swan Lake» for Ballett Zürich.
Steven McRae, member of London‘s Royal Ballet, won the title «Male Dancer of the Year», while Sylvie Guillem, who retired from the stage earlier this year, was elected «Female Dancer of the Year».
For an outstanding last season under its parting director Ivan Liška, Bayerisches Staatsballett has earned the title «Company of the Year».
