Each student will receive a scholarship of 500€ per month for the first three semesters.

MA CODE SCHOLARSHIPS: Upon acceptance of their study place, all students of the will receive a scholarship of 500 Euros per month for the first three semesters of their studies in the four-semester program which is aimed at experienced dancers, performers and choreographers.
The scholarships are a game-changer for many applicants, says Prof. Ingo Diehl: “Our students are taking a big risk. They may have to give up their job for the duration of the master’s course and everyone knows how expensive Frankfurt is and how discouraging it can be working towards a new career start with an overdrawn bank account. Now, the study conditions will improve significantly. We are very happy about that!”
The scholarship program is made possible by a strong foundation alliance: The Aventis Foundation, Crespo Foundation, ODDO BHF Stiftung and the Randstad Foundation have all come together to support the program. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you!

Join the study program in Frankfurt tackeling Artistic: Mediation, Research and Collaboration
The English-language Master Contemporary Dance Education (MA CoDe) is aimed at experienced dancers, performers, and choreographers who want to explore the foundations of their work in the context of a contemporary dance education.
MA CoDE is designed to be both theoretical and practical: The program focuses on the individual interests of the students, supports them in working these out, and follows the highest standards both artistically and academically. Emphasis is placed on a comparative methodology in contemporary dance, on the analysis of group processes, on reflection, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The reference to practice is always central – in close cooperation with international partners and in association with the Hessische Theaterakademie - HTA , we implement diverse projects and mediation formats in the professional field.
