The collaboration builds on a partnership established in 2022 and brings together the expertise of Professor Co-Pierre Georg, Director of the Frankfurt School Centre for Digital Economics (C4DE) and Philippe Redaelli, Managing Director Strategic Initiatives at Kaiko. Frankfurt School Supports Women Entrepreneurship in Ukraine 04/08/2026

Women entrepreneurs are a driving force for economic resilience. Expanding their access to finance is essential for sustainable growth.

On 14 July, the Women Entrepreneurs (WE) Finance Code Ukraine was launched in Kyiv, bringing together government representatives, regulators, financial institutions and international partners. Led by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine, with the support of the EBRD and We-Fi, the initiative begins with 22 founding signatories committed to improving access to finance for women-led businesses.

As implementation consultant on behalf of the EBRD, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management International Advisory Services is supporting the rollout through technical assistance, capacity building, coalition facilitation and the development of data-driven approaches that help financial institutions better serve women-owned and women-led SMEs.
