𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥?
“Christelle, I want to give up my business. I want to go back to an employee job—an easy one where I can still feel the passion and impact of what I’m doing.” told me a client yesterday.
I truly felt her struggle.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦
One day, you hit a wall. The thought of another late night staring at spreadsheets makes your stomach twist.
You whisper to yourself, “I just want an easy job—something that doesn’t suck the life out of me.” Then guilt creeps in: “Am I lazy? Shouldn’t I be grateful?”
You scroll through job boards, imagining a simpler life, but a quiet shame whispers, “You’re abandoning your dreams.”
In that moment, the energy to solve problems evaporates, and every solution feels like climbing a mountain.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞
You try time management hacks—color-coded calendars, productivity apps—but nothing sticks. You think, “If only I had more time…”
Imagine trying to:
✔ Take care of your children
✔ Grow your business
✔ Handle marketing, sales, and learning
✔ Engage in physical activity
✔ Prepare nutritious meals
All while not even considering "ME time" as it seems like an unreachable luxury.
Even when you carve out moments for family, the lingering guilt of not working keeps your mind racing with business problems.
𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚.
When your energy is low:
- Mental fog hampers creativity.
- Self-doubt creeps in: "Why is this so difficult for me?"
- Torn between guilt of quitting and fear of continuing..
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲
Through my own transitions and by coaching hundreds of others, I’ve learned that the real challenge isn’t a lack of vision, resources, or courage—it’s a lack of energy.
When you’re running on empty:
❌ Even the best time management techniques fall short.
❌ Time slips away, and your mind blocks the solutions that could move you forward.
That’s why at Freedom Catcher Academy, we start with energy management.
When you find your flow, you become five times more efficient. It’s not about managing time—it’s about managing your energy.

✨ Ladies, let’s talk about leadership at home. ✨
I often see posts saying: "Working moms have no free time. They juggle work, family, and home, and forget themselves."
And yes, it’s true. When you have kids and a full-time job, evenings are busy, and personal time feels rare.
But… if it’s not the same for dads, there’s a problem with your leadership skills.
Here’s why:
1️⃣ Your husbands should be just as busy as you are.
If they’re not, it’s probably not because they don’t want to help. They might just not fully understand how everything works or what you expect from them.
2️⃣ They may handle things differently and they don´t feel in charge.
This is where your leadership skills come into play.
---
What I suggest:
Bring those leadership techniques from work into your home!
✔️ Clearly define roles and responsibilities.
Just like in a company, everyone should have their "tasks." You’re not the only one responsible for keeping the household running smoothly.
✔️ Stop being the indispensable super leader.
A good CEO knows how to delegate and ensures the team can function even in their absence. Your home can thrive without you having to be the center of everything all the time.
✔️ Communicate your expectations clearly.
Dads and kids can’t read minds (spoiler alert). Let them know what you need and why it matters to you and the family.
✔️ Don´t micromanage.
When they know what to do. Let them do it the way they want. Let go of your perfection.
---
What I’m NOT saying:
❌ I’m not saying inequalities don’t exist.
❌ I’m not suggesting everything is perfect or that we shouldn’t address the mental load many moms carry.
But… if we want to shift this dynamic, it starts with us, (because You are the CEO of Home, whether you like it or not): being bold enough to ask, delegate, and let go.
💬 What about you? What leadership techniques do you use to balance roles at home?
I was invited to speak about this at an international summit. Text "conference" if you’d like me to send the recording for free.

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭?
It's 2013, and here I am, a mom of two lovely boys, with a stable job and a life that seems perfect on paper. My husband and I have our routine down pat, juggling work and family life like pros. But deep down, something's bugging me.
Do you know that feeling when wearing shoes that look great but hurt your feet?
That was my career - stylish on the outside, but honestly, it just didn't fit me anymore.
Here's the catch - I had this crazy dream of becoming a coach, helping people find their path. But let me tell you, it wasn't smooth sailing.
My husband looked at me like I'd suggested moving to Mars. "Change careers now? Are you kidding?"
And to spice things up, we found out baby number three was on the way. Talk about timing!
So there I was, trying to manage it all:
- Convinced my doubtful husband over a decade
- Committed 10 weekly hours to coaching education
- Secured a part-time work arrangement
- Welcomed our third child in 2014
- Planned a strategic escape from corporate rigidity
- Discovered part-time roles against the odds
- Rose early to advance my business
- Utilized weekends for client strategy development
- Managed full-time parenting from 2009
The fear? Absolutely real.
Every time my husband raised an eyebrow at my "crazy" idea, I felt like a rebellious teenager.
But you know what? That fear and anger transformed into my most powerful fuel.
Fast forward to 2018: that dream was no longer just a dream. It took blood, sweat, and even tears, but I finally left my sales engineering job and embraced my true calling.
•My family? Completely on board ...
it turns out, seeing Mom happy creates magic for everyone.
•Was it easy? Absolutely not.
•Would I do it again? Without a single moment of hesitation.
Here's what I learned:
- Passion requires a solid framework
- Passion uncovers surprising personal strengths
- Family backing takes time/ effort and is not immediate
- Reinventing your career demands openness and courage
PM me if you want to shift your hurtful shoes of life.
