Englisch durch Kunst

This week in Englisch durch Kunst (Schmachtenbergschule in Essen) we started the second Talisman Series from Phonic Books. In this story, Zak and Mim embark on a new quest to stop the Dark Lord using his Talisman. The new character introduced to help this with this quest is a mule, therefore we drew donkeys! This is a great book for introducing the 'ue' sound.

This week in Englisch durch Kunst (Schmachtenbergschule in Essen), we read, 'The Gruffalo's Child' by Julia Donaldson. Then we made little mice and sang and danced to, 'Hickory Dickory Dock' 🐭. This is a great song for learning numbers 🐁🐁🐁🐁 🐁.

This week in Englisch durch Kunst (at Schmachtenbergschule in Essen) we read, 'Hairy Maclary's Showbusiness' by Lynley Dodd. Then we made rosettes and drew cute cats, just like in the story 🏵️😻.

This week in Englisch durch Kunst (Schmachtenbergschule in Essen), we read, 'There's a Superhero in your book', by Tom Fletcher. Then we made superhero masks, drew Gorillas and sang and danced to a Superhero song! 🦸

Last week in, 'Englisch durch Kunst', (Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig), we read, 'The Dinosaur that pooped Christmas 🤣', by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher. Then we made beautiful, sparkly snowflakes, and sang and danced to the snowflake song ❄️. Merry Christmas!

This week in, 'Englisch durch Kunst', (Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig), we read, 'The Christmas Pine', by Julia Donaldson. Then we made Christmas trees and made a lot of noise with sleighbells 🙉🎄🤣.

Last week in, 'Englisch durch Kunst', (Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig), we read, 'Winston was Worried', by Pamela, Duncan Edwards. Then we made dog puppets and used them to sing and dance to the, 'BINGO' song 🐶.

Last week in EDK (Englisch durch Kunst) with Grade 3&4 in Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig, we read the last book of the Talisman Series 1 by Phonic Books, called, 'The Dark Master'. This time the Talisman turns Zak into a dragon to protect Mim and Grandpa from the Dark Master. Then step by step together, we drew cute Dragons!

Last week in, 'Englisch durch Kunst', (Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig), we read, 'The Gingerbread Man', by Ladybird Picture Books. Then we decorated our own gingerbread people and ran like the gingerbread man to music! 🏃

Last week in EDK (Englisch durch Kunst) with Grade 3&4 in Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig, we read the 9th book of the Talisman Series 1 by Phonic Books, called, 'Mountain Scare'. This time the Talisman turns Zak into a polar bear to protect his friend Mim, from the werewolves. Then step by step together, we drew cute bears!

This time the Talisman turns Zak into a pangolin to protect his friend, Mim, from the bats. Then step by step together, we drew cute bat's!🦇

This week in, 'Englisch durch Kunst', (Schmachtenbergschule, Kettwig), we read, 'Superworm', by Julia Donaldson. Then we made chain worms and used them to sing and dance to, 'Wiggly Woo!'🪱
