Creativity Activity and Service at The-FIS

Finalised figures being counted up for the CAS Christmas Market 2018...Keep a look out for the final amount raised. Thanks to all who came to support the variety of causes. Please comment below with any feedback if you attended.

Less than 1 week to go until our Annual Christmas Market. Come along and show your support for both HS and MS students as well as over 15 causes and our PTO!

We are planning another student exchange in Spring 2020, and again we need to raise a lot of money to fund the trip for the Mongolian students and teachers.

Our "Auction of Promises" this year will take place on Friday, December 7 and we are now collecting “promises” from parents, staff, High School students and the local community which we will then auction off on the night.

What are the “promises”? Well, they can take the form of a service (e.g. cooking lessons, making a pair of socks, homemade dinner for two, craft party for children), an item (e.g. piece of art, something signed by a celebrity), an event (e.g. tickets to a theme park, holiday accommodation, VIP tickets, golf day) or anything that someone else would be willing to buy! We need promises for all sizes of pockets!

2.5 weeks of the Summer holidays left before we continue experiences in CAS for Grades 10 and 12 and start new adventures with Grades 9 and 11. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this coming academic year!

Study leave in full swing and exams well and truly underway - yet the CAS groups continue to meet and work towards their group objectives. Over the next few weeks Grade 8s will be offered the chance to become involved in some of the groups before their full transition into High School.
