Franconian International School (The-FIS)

Since 1998 we have grown from 25 students to over 800 from over 40 nationalities.

The Franconian International School is an IB World School with high expectations and rigorous educational standards. In a values-based environment, young people are supported in becoming active and engaged global citizens and life-long learners. The FIS provides an inquiry-based curriculum for students from Kindergarten three-year-old classes through the Elementary and Middle Schools to graduation from the High School with the International Baccalaureate (IB) as well as the FIS High School Diploma. An education at the Franconian International School provides your children with the best preconditions for success anywhere in the world. The FIS is also accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC).

Camp Adventure is always a good idea but Camp Adventure at Spitzingsee is even better.

🏕️ Camp Adventure Vol. 1: G6 in Regen!

What do you do when it rains in Regen? 🌧️

Put on the right clothes and have fun anyway!

And the rain didn’t last long … plenty of sunshine followed, along with kayaking, climbing, sleeping under the stars, bonfires and lots of laughter. 🔥✨

Been there, done what? 🎓

G10 is the final year of the IB MYP before students enter the IB Diploma Programme … a milestone year filled with major exams and multiple deadlines 📚 🙇🏻‍♀️.

Having recently completed this journey, our G11 students shared their experiences and practical advice on managing it all 🤝.

A meaningful moment of bonding, encouragement and exchange 🫰🏻.
