✨ Semester Highlight ✨

This semester also brought some great achievements alongside projects and coursework:

🎓 Karrar Al-Ameeri (Master Business Intelligence and Data Analytics) received a DAAD scholarship – a well-known program supporting international students in Germany.

🌟 Janvi Kotkar (Master Technical Management) and Keerti Belmane (Master Business Intelligence and Data Analytics) were awarded the Fem:Talent scholarship – a program at our university that supports talented female students in their academic and professional development.

We’re happy to see our students succeed and take these steps forward 💙

Summer Semester Recap 2026

The Summer Semester 2026 was full of great experiences for the students of the Master’s programmes Business Intelligence & Data Analytics and Technical Management.

From our Survival Guide and bowling event to the guided city tour through Emden, the campus barbecue, inspiring workshops and guest lectures, and the excursion to Airbus in Hamburg, the semester offered many opportunities to learn, connect, and create lasting memories.

We also celebrated the achievements of our graduates at the Technical Management graduation ceremony.

We wish everyone a relaxing semester break and look forward to seeing many of you again in September. To all graduates and students moving on, we wish you all the best and every success for the future!

Eingeladen sind alle Interessierten. Informationen zum Programm und zur Anmeldung sind über den Link in der bio abrufbar.

We are incredibly proud of our student for receiving the DAAD Prize 2026 at Hochschule Emden/Leer! 🏆🎉

Karrar, a Master’s student in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, has distinguished himself not only through outstanding academic achievements but also through his exceptional social commitment and engagement within the university community.

Alongside his studies, he actively contributes to the International Office Buddy Program, the Mechanical Engineering student council, and supports the Faculty of Technology as a student assistant. His journey and dedication truly reflect the values of leadership, diversity, and international collaboration.

We are proud to have Karrar as part of our Master’s program and warmly congratulate him on this well-deserved achievement! 👏

On April 17th, we had the honor of celebrating and sending off our graduates at the Department of Technology graduation ceremony at the Al Lasco Bib in Emden 🎓✨

It was a special evening filled with pride, great moments, and unforgettable memories as we marked the end of this chapter together.

Last Saturday, our students attended Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini as part of the Communication and Culture course.

Experiencing opera live—performed in Italian with German surtitles—offered a unique insight into culture, communication, and the arts beyond the classroom.

Have you ever experienced a business dinner?

Last week, our students had the opportunity to do just that. As part of the Communication and Culture course, they stepped into a real-life business setting and explored the dynamics of professional dining.

By taking on different roles—CEOs, clients, guests, and sales representatives—they gained hands-on experience in communication, etiquette, and cultural awareness in a business context.

The evening was filled with engaging conversations, role exchanges, and a delicious 5-course menu that made the experience even more memorable.

A truly inspiring night of learning beyond the classroom.
