Clueless Cosplay

DJ's Sona's turntable prop is how I discovered the importance of PPE.
Don't be dumb, use PPE when the situation calls for it.
I was dremeling and sanding plexiglas for the boxes and discs on the table without ANY PPE. Little did I know was that those fine little shards of plexiglass shredded my airways. I lost my voice entirely for 2 weeks and simply breathing hurt.
It was incredibly scary and foolish.
So be a smartypants and buy and use protective equipment. A hobby is not worth your health.

Painting this chestpiece has been giving me a headache.
It has gone from black/dark purple to bright brown to what it is now.
Flexbond + acrylic paints is some mystery 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Now to actually finish the backside 😂😂

Finally! Some progress.
It has been ages since I finalized a proper project. Also required an immense amount of willpower to get back to work on this one again. Happy I did it though.
We are looking at a corset slapped down with foam and foamclay.
Needs more foamclay and detailing. Unsure whether then to proceed with flexbond or liquid latex or both.
Guess it needs some testing.
