Die Prüfungszeit ist vorbei und wir wünschen euch wunderbare Semesterferien! Zur Zeit planen wir weiter fleißig neue Events für das kommende Semester.

Matched Buddys: Denisse (Chile) & Constanze

"My name is Denisse and I am from Chile. This is my first time away from home and I heard about the Buddy International, and I find it really good because I was able to meet a person from Germany, that studied the same as me and also we were in a class together. Constanze could help me with basics questions about the university, courses, library and dinning halls. I think the program is really helpful when you want to solve questions, meet new people and practice your German."

Matched Buddys: Lucía(Mexiko) & Markus

"We are happy that you provide a platform for international students to get in contact with German locals. Actually it's a good idea to match the students faculty-wise. In our case that's the faculty of economics at the TU Dresden. Even though we have not yet met in a university-related context, it is still a good idea to have a local co-student who can support his buddy in organisational matters and during the exam time.

Who are we? On the one hand, there is Marcus, a German economics student who's in love with the Spanish language. This matches well with the other hand: Lucía from Mexico who's eager to learn more about Germany.

How does our buddy relationship work out? Pretty well! We chat from time to time and have also met on an irregular basis for going to the mensa or to partys. I have tried to tell Lucía stuff about German (un)culture and when she had questions (regarding her internship or whatever) I tried to help.

We would be pleased if the buddy program could be enhanced to many students of the economics faculty.

Matched Buddys: Amsalu (Äthiopien) & Xenia

"Ich bin Amsalu aus Äthiopien. :) It was great for me to have Xenia as buddy. We have had (and will have too ;) ) great time as buddies. We had went out for coffee but to explore the city. We had time to discuss on the German academic system in general and TUD particular. It is always great to have a native beside you so that you can pose any doubts for further clarification. German Buddys at Buddy International are waiting for you foreign students and help you acclimatize to academic system and the city of Dresden."

We had a great and funny evening at the "Campus" with exciting stories from all over the world.
In the coming days we will present some of our matched buddys. New events are planned. Stay tuned! :)

Wir hatten einen lustigen Abend im "Campus" mit vielen aufregenden Geschichten aus aller Welt.
In den nächsten Tagen werden wir euch ein paar unserer gematchten Buddys vorstellen. Seid gespannt! :)

Wir brauchen Deine Hilfe!

Unser Organisationsteam wird sich in kurzer Zeit aufgrund von Abschlussarbeiten weiter verkleinern. Wir wollen aber auch zukünftig ausländischen Studierenden mit Rat & Tat zur Seite stehen und ihnen einen geeigneten Buddy vermitteln.

Kannst du dir vorstellen Events zu organisieren, Buddys zu vermitteln und dabei noch eine Menge cooler Leute kennenzulernen? Dann bist du bei uns genau richtig!
Als Dank für deine Arbeit erhältst du sogar ein ausführliches Zertifikat der TU Dresden.
