Studierende von 27 elektronischen Hochschulstudios aus Deutschland, Österreich, Frankreich, den Niederlanden, Italien und der Schweiz präsentieren am ZKM ihre musikalischen Neuentwicklungen. Erlebt an vier Tagen ein spannendes und dichtes Programm mit neuesten Positionen aus den Bereichen »Fixed Media«, »Raummusik« und »Live-Elektronik«.

Das Festival findet vom 5. Juni bis 8. Juni statt. Der Eintritt ist frei!

Get ready for the biggest electronic music festival of its kind: next_generation X 🙌

Students from 27 electronic university studios from Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland will present their new musical developments at ZKM. Over four days, experience an exciting and dense program with the latest positions from the fields of »fixed media«, »spatial music« and »live electronics«. 

The festival takes place from June 5 to June 8. Entry is free!

This semester the HML collaborates with the Studio for Electroacoustic Music of the Hans Eisler Hochschule für Musik Berlin. A group of their students joined the HML workshop/ensemble "Sound&Fury" Electroacoustic Improvisation Ensemble two weeks ago, and this week some of our students joined a workshop by Wolfgang Heiniger & Anda Kryeziu on their Loudspeaker Orchestra.

Das Hybrid Music Lab lädt Komponist*innen, Künstler*innen und Forschende ein, die sich auf Arbeiten konzentrieren, die Elektronik, Kl, Fieldrecordings, Video oder andere Medien einbeziehen und nutzen, um ihre Werke bei unseren Abendkolloquien vorzustellen. Außerdem präsentieren unsere Kompositionsstudierende ihre Arbeiten, die sie während ihres Studiums entwickelt haben.
