BIG CHANGE COMING! Ready for post-pandemic? We are!

DST just had their annul review and planning meeting - AND we are very happy to say that DST is adjusting its season for next year. First of all, we are so very glad you joined us for our online talks each month during this last year. we had so much fun sharing our ideas, and on top of it DST kept us sane talking about all things saxophone in a time where not much saxophoning took place. We learned so much from our engaging conversations, and hope you did too. A big THANK YOU for the last year!

NOW - WHAT WILL BE NEW?
With public events being possible again, we will be reducing our monthly talks to 3x per year - stay tuned for our three DST dates in November, January, and May!
THE REST OF THE YEAR we will be using for live concerts and in-person workshops!
We are very excited to see you in person this year!!

The final participant on our Musicians' Recovery, Resilience, and Growth Project is saxophonist Andrew Somerville.

Andrew says, "The project’s themes of growth, resilience and recovery feel particularly fitting as I negotiate the dual undertakings of emerging from Covid-19 and reestablishing myself in Scotland after a number of years abroad. I’m really excited about my project, which combines events explored in my recent doctoral research with a new commission from Ailie Robertson, to create performances with tangible connections to communities in East Lothian and the Scottish Borders."
