Summer is the perfect time to explore beyond Darmstadt. Whether you're after medieval castles, forest trails, or a quiet old town with almost no tourists, there's something within easy reach for every kind of weekend.
The best part? Your Semesterticket covers most of the journey.
Heidelberg in 40 minutes. Odenwald in 30. Idstein in about an hour. Swipe for what to see, do, and keep in mind for each.

We know, we know, taking a break feels impossible when your to-do list is endless. But here's the thing: breaks are not a reward for finishing. They're part of what makes finishing possible.

Exam season is well underway, and we know it's a lot.
Whether you're juggling multiple subjects, studying in your second or third language, or just feeling the pressure, you're not alone. Here are a few evidence-backed tips to help you study smarter, not just longer.
The biggest one? Sleep. Please sleep. No amount of last-minute cramming makes up for a brain running on empty.
You've put in the work. Now trust the process.
And if you're looking for more structured support, TU Darmstadt's HDA offers free workshops, wellbeing tools, and self-study courses designed specifically for students. Link in the last slide.
