Kaş - What happens in Greece stays in Greece 🇬🇷

For some of us, the sixth day started surprisingly early. Both sea and land sickness spread among the crew so that the police man at the Greek-Turkish border was very worried about what happened in Greece. 👮‍♀️ 🔎

We wish we’d know! Once Kas was reached, the survivors explored an amphie theatre overlooking the sea. Leo held Today’s session about student representation in Austria over Turkey’s best Kumquat iced tea before the day ended in the best restaurant so far where we dined with a beautiful view of Kaş’ sunset.

Fun Fact of the Day: Waiting for the receipt at the pharmacy takes 4x longer than walking there.

Day four- Kastelorizo: from Turkey to Greece 🇬🇷

Today, we left the port of Kas to sail straight to the police station. After this we were officially checked out of Turkey and back in the EU. 🪪 👮‍♀️

There is no rest for the wicked, as we after lunch went straight to a 3 hour hike. Mountains, monasteries, fortresses and military structures. Up and down. Then some freddo cappuccinos as a reward for coming back alive. 🏔️ 🥾

An early morning awaits us tomorrow with new adventures🌟

✨Fun fact of the day: In the mountains of Kastelorizo lives not only infinite goats, but also their only firefighter, who is a beekeeper as well.

Day 3 - Kas: How to propaganda / Pineapple Party Party against Anti Party Party 🍍

This morning, we woke up in a picturesque bay instead of a port! After breakfast on deck, we sailed along the border between Europe and Asia- an imaginative line somewhere in the water. Today’s session was about the propaganda machine in Hungary and ended with a competition between the Anti Pineapple Party(APP) and the Pineapple Party Party (PPP). We ended the day at the beach with some snorkeling, chilling and reading before heading to have dinner in Kaş.

Fun Fact of the Day: Pumpkin is not accepted as a cold treatment. 🎃 🤧

Day 2: DEMRE to the Uçagais ⛵️

Sunken cities and an afternoon nap

After our second night on the Marleen, wind and waves woke us up before the Good-Morning-Sunshine Song could do so. 💨
We spent the morning inside discussing how our attention towards developed since 2018 while waiting for the rain to pass. Once the sail was set, we passed along an ancient sunken city, heard Billy Joel songs and took an afternoon nap on deck.

Andreas and Angelika safely brought us to Uçagais. We anchored in a bay and got picked up by boat for dinner at Hassan’s Fish restaurant. He moved back from Germany, now states to have the best fish in the Mediterranean Sea and gifted us fresh Basil! 🐠 🎣

DAY 1 - FINIKE to DEMRE: ⛵️

After our first night sleeping on board, we took a quick dip in the sea and set sail to our next destination, Demre. On our way, we learned how to knot nautically knotted knotes. After arriving in Demre, Leo and Stella (our crew‘s future private chefs) cooked a delicious omelette before we headed to explore the city‘s amphi theatre and St. Nicholaus‘ church.

✨Fun fact of the day: Angelika and Andreas actually designed and built the boat on their own!

Last day of sailing 😢⛵️
We woke up in the beautiful bay of Gökkaya and started our last sailing day, with luckily more wind than the last days,- Rasmus was grateful with us.
We enjoyed the sun, and played Werwolf on deck. As soon as we arrived in Finike we got back to our last big task: cleaning the boat.
Afterwords had a quick shower ourselves and went for our last dinner in Finike downtown, which was very pleasant and some of us even had the chance to have had their future being told over their hand or Turkish coffee cup by Andreas, Beliz and Cedric. We talked about the past week and a few tears were shed…
Back at the boat we quickly packed because we were picked up by the taxi at 3.30 AM to get to the airport.
We are all sad but more than that so, so grateful for this experience and journey 💗⛵️🏝️☀️

Merhabalar dostlar!❤️
Yesterday, we started day with Teo’s presentation on Water Diplomacy and after that we had a very long sailing and it was really cloudy tho, even we had the chance to see a small tornado! After our long sailing we managed to arrive Gökkaya Bay and it was so beautiful🐚! It was a quite calm day and we really enjoyed it! Sea was wonderful and the nature of the Kekova Island was mesmerizing! Beliz and Teo cooked again for dinner and everything was delicious!🤤 🫶🏼

Wow, what a day again. With our German grandparents (as we call them by now) we went to the most beautiful beach in Türkiye. After, we walked along the harbour, drank something in a bar, we went to a restaurant for a nice meal. Like all other days, we enjoyed today to the fullest. ☀️🏝️😍😍

Merhaba again! 🇹🇷
On our fifth day, we sailed back to turkey said goodbye to Kastellorizo and hello to Kaş.
The wind was very strong, so we made it to our destination in no time.
In Turkey we explored the city, listened to Lucias Presentation, about what divides and unites our countries and governments, in the cutest café. Afterwards had dinner overlooking the old town of Kaş, which was so beautiful!
After letting Andreas trick us with an ice-cream guy, we discovered the night life and spent our evening dancing ⭐️💃🕺

Kalimera friends! It’s us again! We woke up early in the morning in beautiful Kastellorizo, because our first stop is.... (drum sounds) the blue cave! It was one of the coolest expériences in our life. After that, cedric gave his session in St. Georges island, about how our generation redefines careers, while we drank greek coffee overlooking the méditerranean.
