Within a vast tunnel network covering tens of thousands of square meters, liquid oxygen for the V2 rocket was produced under strict secrecy. Standard-gauge railway tracks even allowed freight trains to enter the underground complex directly—an extraordinary achievement of wartime engineering. 🚂⚙️

After the war, production ended and the enormous tunnel system was later given a completely different purpose before becoming a silent witness to history. 📜🕊️

The Espadon (S637) is one of the last surviving submarines of its generation and offers a rare insight into life beneath the sea. 🌊🔦

Commissioned into the French Navy in the 1960s, the submarine served during the Cold War. Its crew lived and worked for weeks in extremely confined spaces beneath the ocean—a demanding challenge both physically and mentally. ⚙️🌍

Today, Espadon is preserved as a museum submarine, allowing visitors to explore its narrow passageways and experience what daily life aboard a submarine was really like. 📜🏛️

Inside an abandoned Atlantic Wall anti-aircraft position, an extraordinary discovery has survived—an original wartime firing sketch from World War II. 📜🔦

From the outside it looks inconspicuous, but this armored fire control bunker was the command center of a coastal battery. 🔭⚓

From here, soldiers observed the sea, calculated distances, and transmitted firing orders to the guns. Without this command post, accurate coastal artillery fire would have been nearly impossible. 📡💥
