We’re excited to finally share the official program of the first Albanian Film Festival Köln!

From 𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟗 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Filmhaus Köln will host four days of Albanian cinema, bringing together award-winning films, acclaimed filmmakers, and powerful new voices from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and the diaspora.

From internationally celebrated productions to emerging perspectives, this year’s selection brings stories of identity, belonging, memory, family and migration to the big screen.

Cologne Summer School in LVR-Archeological Park Xanten: for four weeks of hands-on learning and digging into the past - literally!

From archaeological excavation techniques to discovering the stories hidden beneath the soil, the experience brought history, teamwork and international exchange together.

And that’s what makes the Cologne Summer Schools so special: they are as diverse as the people who take part in them. Our summer schools offer students the chance to explore new fields, learn by doing, meet inspiring people and experience international academic networks from new perspectives. 🌍🎓⛏️

Cologne Summer Schools are in full swing! ☀️🎓🌍
This year, around 170 international students are visiting the University of Cologne to explore new ideas, connect across cultures and take part in a variety of exciting summer school programmes.

One of them: “Futures of Well-Being – Speculative Visions and Critical Perspectives”, an interdisciplinary summer school organised within the EUniWell Alliance, bringing together 25 students from universities across Europe.
