Die Lotus-Foundation, führte vor zwei Wochen in Tirupur ein freies Augen-Check-up-Camp für alle Kinder der Migros KIDS Schule durch.

Alle Kinder von der Tagesstätte bis zur zwölften Klasse und die Lehrer haben an den Augentests teilgenommen.

Kinder, die eine weitere, detaillierte Untersuchung benötigen, wurden gebeten, in das Krankenhaus in Tirupur zur weiteren Behandlung zu kommen.

In Tamil Nadu we celebrate "Pongal" Festival on January 14th every year. I celebrate four days in my home. In Pongal Festival mother will make many sweets. I will wear new dress. On this day I eat my favorite food "Pongal".
On this day holiday for me. So I enjoy with my relatives. So "Pongal" is my "Favorite Festival".

My Hobby
My Hobby is playing games. I like to act and play as a teacher. My favorite subject is English. So I like to act as my English teacher. I like to ride cycle, and playing video games and with toys. I like to draw pictures and like to color it.

My name is Y. Fagil Methausha. I'm ten years old. I'm studying in VI in Migros KIDS Matriculation School in Tirupur. My father is M. Yuruff, marketing manager. My mother is B. Fathima Nachiyan, teacher. I have one sister. Her name is Y. Soniya and she is studying in X. If I get one lakh rupee, first of all I'll thank God, I will think how to use it in a proper way I think to satisfy all of my needs. But, it seems to be selfish. So, I think for a while. Finally, I decided. No, I determined and I started initiating some measures to take care and to protect my mother earth. So, I decided to buy thousands and thousands of saplings with the help of my friends and neighbors. Now, I satisfy myself by doing this valuable service, because it can conserve and protect many living species and the precious lives of people.

With the students of the Migros KIDS School in India/Tirupur we created a new project. To introduce them to you, all students have the possibility to write about themselves and their future perspectives. They are happy to take part in this project and they are excited about the feedback.

Representatives of the KIDS association visit the school in Tirupur regularly to get a picture of the school. They decide together with the teachers where money is needed to renovate the buildings or to improve the quality of education.
