Turns out, the best part of summer was all of you. 🌍 Before saying goodbye at our farewell celebration, Rodrigo handed the mic to our students one last time. What stood out the most from their weeks at CBS?

Sitting in a room with people from all corners of the world and realising how much you have in common. The trips, the activities, the packed weekends. And a certain mysterious lake that we definitely need to ask more about 😉

Answers like these are exactly what makes the CBS Summer Programme what it is. And exactly why you shouldn’t miss out on the next one. See you in summer 2027? ☺️

And just like that, our Summer Programme 2026 has come to an end 🌍
Last week, our 2026 Summer Programme ended. Most of the students have arrived back home by now. What they take with them is only partly academic. There were courses, credits, and company visits, and the questions asked in those rooms were sharp enough that hosts noticed.
But the even more durable part happened around the edges of the timetable: the wrong tram taken twice, the bakery order attempted without rehearsing it first, the evening a group of people who met four weeks earlier realised they had become friends.

Thanks are due to the companies, institutions, and hosts who let a group of international students in and showed them something a seminar room cannot. A big thank you to Silke Bochow, Maria Molozhon, Rodrigo Ramos Cuevas, and to Laxmi Remer for seeing the students off.

One summer, so many memories. 🌍☀️

As our CBS Summer Programme comes to an end, we asked our students what they loved most about their time with us and their answers say it all.

From exploring Germany and meeting people from all over the world to making lifelong friendships and experiencing a new culture: this summer was truly one to remember. A huge thank you to all our international students for bringing so much energy, curiosity and joy to our campus!

Hopefully this isn’t goodbye, but rather see you soon! ☺️

Exploring Aachen, one landmark at a time! ✨
Our international students recently discovered some of Aachen’s most iconic sights, including the Elisenbrunnen, the famous Aachen Cathedral, and famous landmarks like the Cycle of Money sculptures by Karl-Henning Seemann.

After a day of exploring the city, they wrapped it up with some delicious food, live music and great company.

Trips like these are a wonderful way to experience the local culture, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories together.
