We pitched our assignment, Niklas won the Best Idea Award and we made it to the Semi Final Round! The effort was definitely worth it ! Thank you all for supporting us during our adventure it was just marvelous 💥🚀🤯

🇬🇧 Today we want to introduce you to our beautiful adopted home town Bremerhaven! Or as we call it „Bheaven“, is sometimes connected to negative thoughts. Even though it has many beautiful sides! For example we study right by the North Sea and have our very own Burj Al Arab 😉! Moreover, due to having a lot less students than other university’s, the students tend to be much more connected to each other and get the feeling of being a family! Why not give it a shot and visit us? ☺️

🇩🇪 Heute wollen wir Euch unsere schöne Wahlheimat Bremerhaven vorstellen! Bremerhaven, oder wie wir es nennen "Bheaven", wird immer weider mit negativen Gedanken gleichgesetzt. Trotzdem hat es auch einige sehr schöne Seiten! Wir studieren nämlich direkt am Meer mit unserem ganz eigenen Burj Al Arab 😉
Außerdem entsteht durch die kleinere Anzahl an Studenten eine viel stärkere Verbundheit untereinander und ein familiäres Gefühl. Kommt doch mal vorbei!

Today we revealed some more information about our study program on instagram. 🛳

Cruise Tourism Management (CTM) is an unique program in Germany. Only in Bremerhaven, near the North Sea, one can study economics and tourism with a specific focus on the cruise industry. In a total of eight semesters, about 40 students per year learn the fundamentals of business administration, but additionally also product management and development in a constantly changing environment, the handling of resources, innovation strategies and change management. As the name already implies, the course is taughed in English and is also focussing current trends in tourism as well as cruise. For the duration of one year students are required to stay abroad, which offers them the opportunity to expand their knowledge at international universities or to apply already acquired experience in practice. Many decide for an internship aboard cruise ships, but insights into other tourism concerns are also attractive and 'CTMies' are likely to be hired across industries.

As the slogan „University by the sea” may indicate, the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven is near the mouth of the river Weser into the North Sea. Thereby a student’s dream to study close to the beach as well as to the city centre at the same time becomes reality.
