Recreation Center - Jacobs Gym Come and get fit! Take your mind off books and assignments, move away the stress, relax and have fun!

Here are some general rules and regulations for the usage of the Recreation Center:

1) Get a contract with one of us! Just bring:
1 picture of yourself (passport-size)
money: 15€ for students OR 45€ for staff or faculty members


2) Work out! Bring:
proper sports gear
a second clean pair of shoes that are worn INSIDE ONLY
a clean a towel with an appropr

iate size (minimum 30 x 100 cm)

Show your membership card to the on-duty Sports Advisor upon entering the
Recreation Center! Use the the Recreation Center equipment responsibly and as instructed by the
Sports Advisor. Cover the cushions of the machines with your towel while exercising! Exercising with free weights is restricted to the indicated "Dumb-bell Area". Do not drop the weights on the floor, as damages to the floor will incur repairing
costs of at least 30000€! Do not step with your shoes on the mats in the "Stretching Area"!

3) We reserve the right to send you away or suspend your contract should you
violate any of these rules.

Dear All,

The gym will be open during the normal hours ( Mon-Fi: 4-10 pm , Sat-Sun: 1-10 pm ) for the entire winter break excepts for the following days:

26th´December -13 January: Mon-Fi: 2-8 pm , Sat-Sun: 11am- 8pm.
24th, 25th and 31st December , 1st January: Closed

So if you are on campus and dying of boredom come workout :) and to everyone else enjoy for winter break see you next semester.
