Einschulung!

On 25 August, we welcomed 26 new Grade 1 students to ISB.

Following speeches from our Director and Head of Elementary School, the children came together to plant a tree donated by their parents. Grade 2 also welcomed them with plenty of cheering and their special welcome song.

Over the next 12 years, our new Grade 1 students will be able to watch the tree grow right alongside them.

A wonderful start to the new school year at ISB! ❤️

At our first assembly on Monday, our new Head of School, Ms Carl, welcomed students back and reminded us of three simple values to carry with us throughout the year: Kindness, Honesty and Respect.

Welcome back to all our students, families, and staff! ❤️

And while everyone was away, our Early Learning Centre received a fresh new look. It’s now ready for our youngest learners to fill the new spaces with little faces, big ideas, and lots of play. 🌟

A lot happened at ISB while everyone was enjoying the summer holidays! ☀️🔨

Our Early Learning Centre (Kindergarten) underwent some major construction and exciting upgrades over the break, creating an even bigger and better learning environment for our youngest students. 🌟

While the classrooms were quiet, the construction site definitely wasn’t.

☀️ Solar power is officially live at ISB!

Our new solar panels have now been installed and are generating energy right here on campus. Even better, the idea for the project originally came from five of our own students. 💡

A big congratulations to them for helping turn an idea into something that will make a real difference at our school.

Now we just need Bremen to provide the sunshine. 😄☀️

ISB Class of 2026! 🎓

Graduation is always one of the most special days of the school year, and it was a pleasure to celebrate this milestone on 13 June with our Grade 12 students, their families, and our staff.

It began with a beautiful ceremony at Bremen’s historic Rathaus and ended with a wonderful evening of dinner and celebrations at the Parkhotel.

Since then, our graduates have also received an excellent set of IB Diploma Programme results, giving them another reason to celebrate as they begin their next chapter.

Congratulations once again, Class of 2026. We wish you all the very best for whatever comes next, and we hope you’ll come back and visit us from time to time. ❤️

Happy Friday! We hope everyone has been enjoying the first week of the summer break. ☀️

Congratulations to Nicole Boutriha (Grade 7), who represented Bremen at the National Junior.ING Finals in Berlin and achieved an outstanding 4th place in Germany with her Da Vinci Roof model. 👏🏆

Competing against the top entries from all sixteen German states, Nicole’s model stood out for its creativity, engineering, and careful design. Reaching the national finals was already a fantastic achievement, and finishing fourth is something to be incredibly proud of.

A huge congratulations to Nicole on this well-deserved result. Something tells us this isn’t the last impressive model she’ll build.
