🇵🇱✈️ Did you know these two almost perfectly circular islands are located in the Szczecin Lagoon, near the German border?

They were created during the deepening of the Świnoujście–Szczecin shipping channel and have become a safe sanctuary for birds and wildlife. 🐦🌿

As a pilot, they’re one of my favorite landmarks from the air. A beautiful example of engineering working together with nature.

Respect to the Polish engineers and everyone who helped make this possible. 🇵🇱👏

🇵🇱✈️ Czy wiedzieliście, że te dwie niemal idealnie okrągłe wyspy znajdują się na Zalewie Szczecińskim, blisko granicy z Niemcami?

Powstały podczas pogłębiania toru wodnego Świnoujście–Szczecin i dziś są bezpiecznym schronieniem dla ptaków oraz dzikiej przyrody. 🐦🌿

Jako pilot to jeden z moich ulubionych punktów orientacyjnych z powietrza. Piękny przykład tego, jak inżynieria może współpracować z naturą.

Szacunek dla polskich inżynierów i wszystkich, którzy przyczynili się do realizacji tego projektu. 🇵🇱👏
