PARI

Globally, more than one in nine people are suffering from hunger. On the other hand, food production levels are as high as never before in human history.

Program of Accompanying Research for Agricultural Innovation (PARI) in Africa and India, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). To a large extent, hunger remains to be a poverty-related problem, and the majority of those afflicted from undernourishment and malnutrition are small-scale subsistence farmers who are unable to take advantage of the rising global demand for agricultural goods to improve their livelihoods. Promoting locally adapted innovations is key to food security and sustainable agricultural growth. Find out more at http://research4agrinnovation.org/
