International Law and Transboundary Hydropower projects: Lessons learned from the Binational Entity ITAIPU
Dr. Gwynn is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Bonn and Former Governing Council Member of ITAIPU
The meeting will commence with free sandwiches, coffee and refreshments at 12:45pm. The speaker will commence at 13.00 pm and speak for about forty minutes, allowing about twenty minutes for questions and discussion. The meeting should conclude before 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome. No RSVP is necessary.

The Bonner Reading Group is open to all interested in public international law, especially students. Prior knowledge is not required. Welche Frauen beeinflussten die Völkerrechtsentwicklung? Zu dieser Frage veranstaltete Herr Professor Dr. Stefan Talmon, LL.M., M.A. dieses Semester ein Seminar unter dem Titel "Pionierinnen des Völkerrechts". Um spannende Einblicke in das Leben und Wirken herausragender Frauen im Völkerrecht zu geben, lädt das Institut für Völkerrecht alle Interessierten ganz herzlich zu einem öffentlichen Vortragsabend ein. Herr Professor Dr. Stefan Talmon, LL.M., M.A. wird ein Grußwort sprechen. Frau Hannah Riemer und Frau Regina Mies, die beide am Seminar teilgenommen haben, werden "ihre" Pionierin vorstellen. Die Veranstaltung findet in der Bibliothek des Instituts für Völkerrecht (Ostturm, 4. Stock) am 6. Juli, 18:00 Uhr, statt. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig.
