What’s the difference between noise and good input?

Take away the R, the I or the C from RICH and you get noise.

You might sing along to a catchy song.. but if you don’t understand the meaning it’s not helping you to acquire the language.

So make sure that your input is
RICH:
Repetitive
Interesting
Comprehensible
High frequency vocabulary

others. But this doesn’t mean that they‘re not as good. No, they might still be great students but simply have a different way of learning.

What’s the difference between comprehensible and comprehended input?

It’s the perspective. As the teacher I might think that my students understand this… but I don’t know this for sure until I get precise feedback from my students.
