Regarding the 2nd picture, Yuya explains: „These are operant boxes I recently built to study the perception and cognition of rock pigeons and jungle crows. I train the birds to peck at visual stimuli on a touch monitor to study their motion perception and visuo-motor control."

Time flies when you're having fun(ding)! Jonathan Tsay from spent 4 weeks in Prof. Timmann-Braun's lab .essen , focusing on a project investigating which areas of the cerebellum support implicit & explicit processes that enable successful motor adaptation.
"Beyond the journal clubs, meetings, seminars & walk & talks I’ve attended, I learned so much by being a subject in the lab’s experiments (see pic of me in the MRI). Moreover, I had the opportunity to observe how my host runs her cerebellar clinic (pic in white coat) & learn from various patients with different cerebellar deficits. In my spare time, I’ve been exploring and the surrounding cities, as well as spending time with lab members outside the lab.", Jonathan says.
