This World Refugee Day, we're doing something a bit different. 💃
In celebration of courage, creativity, and community, we're hosting an evening in Berlin in collaboration with SoundCloud, an artist-first platform that empowers people to connect through music.
As part of the event, we’re bringing these themes to life through a special DJ workshop hosted by Femme Bass Mafia, a DJ and music production mentoring program for FLINTA people focused on bass music and creating safer learning spaces. 🪩
For people starting over in a new place, creative expression can be a great way to meet people and participate in a city’s cultural life. In a city like Berlin, with its vibrant music scene, we can’t think of a better way to bring people together.
Register your interest to take part! Please note that spots are limited and will be allocated via a lottery. ➡️ https://bit.ly/fbmkdj

This World Refugee Day, we’re excited to partner with SoundCloud for a special community event in Berlin! 💫
This year marks 75 years of the 1951 Refugee Convention, which established the internationally recognized definition of a refugee, and the right to fundamental rights, including education and work. At Kiron, we see these rights as deeply connected, forming the foundation for people rebuilding their lives in new communities.
This year's Refugee Week theme is courage, and we're expanding that to celebrate courage, creativity, and community. We’re especially excited to collaborate with SoundCloud, an artist-first platform that empowers musicians and fans to share and connect through music. 🪩
On June 18th, we're celebrating the courage it takes to step into new spaces and build connections through shared creative passions.
Highlights of the evening:
- DJ workshop with Femme Bass Mafia (limited availability)
- Panel discussion with voices from Kiron and SoundCloud
- Networking over food and drinks
- DJ set by Berlin-based artist ECE 🎶
The event is open to all, but spots are limited! We especially welcome refugees, HR/TA/DEI professionals, and creatives to register your interest! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfapIRX6KeNC7Ot4O0bQEq1G4UeshSokx4shnvn9CG9dALL-w/viewform
