Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof "Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof", is a German idiom meaning "I don't understand a thing you're saying". At the end I would ask for a donation of €5-10.

We meet every Wednesday in Ostfee café and play games, get to know each other & practice German in a relaxed atmosphere & in a small group. You:
- Recently arrived in Berlin
- not much/no knowledge of German
- Are trying to get café/office type job
- Would like to learn basic language to get around Berlin

Me:
I'm Ash, an Irish girl who has been living & working in Berlin for 2 yrs. This month I will sit the C1 exam. Then, in September I'm going back to University to study German Studies in the hope of becoming a teacher.
