The class meets within central Berlin to explore the expressive possibilities of drawing. Participants are exposed to a series of simple, practical exercises with the aim of developing sensorial awareness, helping to unleash our inner, intuitive creativity and create great, honest pieces of drawing. The course conductors, Doro and Misha (aka Enrique del Val), are practicing artists, experienced teachers and drawing lovers. Doro Petersen created and lead "Skizzenspaziergang im Sprengelkiez" in Berlin. Misha co-founded and run the "Drawing in the City at Night" sessions in Sydney, Australia, from 2008-2013. He also was a lecturer at KvB Institute Of Technology and Manly Warringah Community College in Sydney for Creative Drawing and Painting 2006-2007. Mach mit beim Urban Drawing mit den Künstlern Doro Petersen and MISHA (aka Enrique del Val). Die Kursleiter Doro Petersen and MISHA sind professionelle Künstler bzw Illustratoren und angetrieben von einer großen Liebe zum Zeichnen. Doro Petersen leitet den beliebten Skizzenspaziergang im Weddinger Sprengelkiez und MISHA hat die Kursreihe Drawing in the City at Night in Sidney initiiert und von 2008 bis 2013 betreut.

Drawing in the City - BERLIN offering 2 drawing courses in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA!!!

Led by Aaron Matheson, trained in drawing to Masters level at the Princes Drawing School in London, and
Misha Piratenburger who... didn't.

Two drawing classes for your delectation this New Year. We are pushing the bar to share two key themes from our practice- drawing with and through and in music, which will involve and very good live band "Catgut", and drawing and meditation. Misha (aka Enrique del Val) is back from Berlin for a short time only and teams up again with longtime painting compatriot Aaron Matheson to run these workshops.

am Samstag , den 2. November biete ich im Rahmen des WEDDING SEMINAR wieder einen Skizzenspaziergang im Weddinger Sprengelkiez an. Ihr seid sehr herzlich dazu eingeladen! Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Um eine kurze Anmeldung unter http://www.sprengelkultur.de/workshops-okt-13.html wird gebeten.
Der Skizzenspaziergang ist sowohl für Könner als auch für Anfänger geeignet und wir werden auch bei regnerischem Wetter einen Platz zum Zeichnen finden. Bitte möglichst eigenes Zeichenmaterial mitbringen; eine kleine Anzahl von Skizzenbrettern kann gestellt werden.

Intuitive Perspective and Proportion

This drawing workshop focuses on the aspects of drawing of perspective and proportion. Perspective includes both, the technique of designing on a two-dimensional surface landscapes, streetscapes, figures, and three-dimensional objects according to the laws of visual representation, and also, the ability to gain correct understanding of the relative importance of any phenomena we are to engage with, in our case the object(s) of our drawing. Proportion stands for the faculty to see properly the relationship between one part and another, and between the parts and the whole.

Open to everyone with an interest in drawing, including complete beginners.

Meeting point: Heinrichplatz/Oranienstr. Kreuzberg, Berlin.

Cost: donation between 10 and 30 euros.
