NATURAL DYE WORKSHOP!!!
next weekend - June 28th and 29th
Sarah Kelley will be giving a two day Natural Dye Workshop in Greenhouse Berlin -
Participants will be introduced to various dye baths made from spices, flowers, teas, and plants. I will give a little introduction on how they were created, showing samples of results. The first day will consist of experimentation with the dyes, mixing them, trying different strengths, learning different application techniques and so forth. Every participant will be provided with a selection of pre-fixed fabrics to experiment with.
On the second day we will pick out the pieces with the best results and combine them to create a bag, pouch or collage using some basic hand sewing techniques which I will demonstrate.
11.00-17.00 with one hour for lunch, which is included both days.
100,00 for the two day workshop.
