WHO WE ARE
THE PLACE
Our project is perceived, processed and born within the walls of the Greenhouse, former host of the Tempelhof/Neukölln Job Center. Eight floors full of creative artists’ studios, performance and project spaces ready to accomodate all kinds of educational and artistic endeavors. Visitors are able to experiment in our large-scale spaces, present their work, propose activities
or meet outside of the classes to involve themselves in the cultural life of the Greenhouse. With such a rare mix of creative spirits and facilities the transformation of the concept and the atmosphere of the word ‘job’ into an energetic flow of passionate ‘creative work’ could only naturally occur. THE PIECES
SHAPE is the space where all of us, the pieces of the greater puzzle are able to connect, share creativity and grow together as artists. Through learning and teaching, collaboration, communication and the exchange of opinions through human interaction we lay the groundwork for SHAPE. We invite all of you creative people, all of you curious, eager beings to join us into shaping newer and bigger forms, as colorful and varied as possible. We are intent to involve and be involved, to become an organic part of the city and to connect with both the local and international culture's alike. As an ever morphing picture, built of a multitude of creatives, we at SHAPE are always supporting talent and keeping our standards of quality high.
