Uganda has been full of energy this week 🇺🇬

We’re facilitating a MAP workshop together with Petra Speier-Werner and Jonathan Tusubira, bringing together 80 participants from across sectors — all working on one shared challenge: strengthening agricultural value chains for smallholder farmers in Teso.

Over the sessions, we’ve been exploring:

🌱 How different actors connect within a system
🤝 Why collaboration across sectors really matters
🧭 How strategy and governance shape long-term impact
💡 And how the MAP approach helps make sense of complexity

What makes this special is the mix of people in the room — different roles, different perspectives — but a shared commitment to improving livelihoods and building sustainable systems.

Because meaningful change doesn’t happen alone — it happens together.

Two powerful days of learning and reflection with the amazing team at Breakthrough Trust, India 🇮🇳

The Asia Hub of Civil Society Academy International facilitated a workshop focused on:

✨ Self Leadership and Understanding how values shape leadership
✨ Strengthening program design
✨ Improving decision-making processes

What stood out most was the honest conversations around leadership - not just as a role, but as a daily practice rooted in values, clarity, and accountability.

When leaders align purpose with action, programs become stronger and impact becomes deeper.

Thank you to the Trust team for your openness, energy, and commitment to growth.

What an incredible two days! 🚀

On 9–10 February, we wrapped up our AI for NGOs Hackathon, hosted by Civil Society Academy International together with Zero Hunger.ai.

Here’s who joined us:
✨ 14 participants
🌍 5 countries
🏢 5 organizations

From Tajikistan to Germany, Norway to Nepal, we came together to explore how AI can actually support the daily work of NGOs - from program design to reporting, fundraising, and knowledge management.

This wasn’t about hype.
It was about practical tools, real challenges, and learning by doing.

The energy, collaboration, and openness in the room showed one thing clearly: civil society is ready to engage with AI — thoughtfully, ethically, and strategically.

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed their ideas, questions, and courage to experiment.

More to come. 💡
