IAM international art moves

IAM international art moves presents the best talents from art academies worldwide in Berlin. In the meantime 23 Art Schools are partner of the IAM network.

IAM international art moves is a network of International Art Schools and Art Academies, founded and realized by culture.net. The main aim of IAM international art moves is to give art students a real life experience by creating an intercultural
exhibition project in the context of a professional exhibition space. IAM is constantly building up a cooperation network with International Art Schools and Art Academies. The activities of IAM international art moves consist of two main parts:

the workshop: The IAM workshops are realized at the Art Academies. The students from all media develop their own exibition. That means not only the artistic part but also the curatorial, financial, communicational and group work aspects. The IAM workshop prepares the students for the exhibition realization in Germany. the exhibition: The IAM exhibition is realized at a real art space in Germany. A group of students comes to Germany and brings their exhibition to life. In 2011 and 2012 the IAM exhibitions were realized at the OSTRALE, International Festival for contemporary Arts in Dresden, Germany. The international partners of the IAM international art moves network shall get a kind of display window of their actual "production" which
usually only can be seen in occasion of open days. The students will become ambassadors of their Academy and at the same time part of
an international competition on highest level. As well it is the idea to integrate it as practical curatorial and art management studies and research
into the particular studies of each participating Art School. Partner Academies who participated already in the IAM workshops and exhibitions:
