5 DAYS COURSE
Learn how to style and create stunning floral bouquets for table settings, theme parties, and guest gifts for luxury life on a yacht. Including decorative elements with fine dining accessories and specific color themes that go along with the high-end interior of yachts.

LEARN
You will learn 16 different floral design techniques to show your skills as a stewardess to make a difference in your application. Including special ideas for the table setting. You will receive floral recipes and design concepts to be able to recreate those designs in again.

Private course. A little Christmas centerpiece using a hairpin frog. Very beautiful student work. It is fantastic teaching very intensely somebody certain techniques. On average we create three to four elements which we discuss beforehand. The private course is all about what you want to learn.

Private course part two. When you book us for a privat day session we create between three and four floral designs. We discuss with you personally what you want to learn which color palette you are interested in etc. We have on more course before our Christmas holiday which is bridal bouquets next. Will work with beautiful and tulips and much more. A few spots are still open.

The old Dutch bouquet course is around the corner. On the 28th and 29th we create four outstanding bouquets using four different techniques. We will concentrate on color theory of the old still life floral paintings. You will design and photograph your flowers in specially designed settings. Two of the vases you design your flowers in you will keep and obviously all your flowers you designed with. This course is for all who are really crazy about floral arrangements.

This beautiful bouquet was made with the watermelon technique.This techniques is wonderful for weddings and events, when you need to produce a lot of designs. The texture of the watermelon is very similar to floral foam. Therefore it is very easy to use. The lifespan for some flowers is shorter though depending on the sugar content of the 🍉.

It is the time of the year now where it gets dark early and outside is getting cold. People love to decorate their house and make it cozy inside. Candles and wreaths are a must for that season. Beginners class through back from October this year. Novembers class is already fully booked. So we are starting fresh on the 7th of January 2023 with this course. For whom is this course? It is for all people that have a love for flowers. Who have hardly any to no experience working with flowers and who want to learn the three basics of floristry. 1. How to hand-tie a bouquet. 2 How to do a beautiful bouquet in a vase. 3.How to create a floral wreath for the door. We show everything step by step. And obviously you take your flowers with after the course.

A wreath di s not have to be around all the time. As a floral designer it is important to push boundaries of floral designs. We used to different tapes to cover the metal and than used wire to secure the flowers. This is beautiful for the wall, a modern apartment or a window display. Depending on if you use fresh or dried flowers this can last from 2 days to up to 6 months.

This Valentine’s Day bouquet was part of a day course within the floral careers course dedicated to Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Discussing budget, quality of flowers. target groups and choices of flowers for different age groups. We like to prepare our students for the reality of the floral business as much as we can.

Color explosion: …. Modern interpretation for a bar or a gallery. It is always important to know the concept or room in which a floral design will be experienced. We talk about these connections and make sure to understand the importance of it.

Bring the colors on. On the careers course we have one day special dedicated to Valentine’s Day bouquet. On this day we create for three different target groups a floral bouquet. Including your mother, your lover, your friends. The third target group was all about pop art colors. Embracing contrast we even sprayed some of the leaves with the students.

Autumn wreaths with our own woven foundation from willow was a highlight for all students this week. Our next wreath course is in November.

Spa flowers for the reception. Each student gets the task to create three vases that speak as a group and as an individual design. We had a lot of fun with this challenge.

These beautiful reception bouquets were part of day one of the corporate event week. Creating beautiful reception desk bouquets for hotels or banks etc. We used the chicken wire technique here and made sure everything was really secure.

This waterfall bouquets were made with a new sustainable technique without floral foam. We constantly improve our technique and trying to find the best alternatives in not using floral foam.

Wedding course day number three was all about creating a castle style wedding. The theme was contrasting with the light blue and peach combined with warm tones of gold. Each day the students learn three new techniques.

Sustainable flower arch technique with water tanks. This was from the second day of the wedding week. This style is all about using small flower heads and typical garden flowers.

Day one of the wedding week classical green and white wedding. On this four day course you learn each day three new techniques. For each theme you see a presentation to understand the style and floral choice.

In the first week the students learned how to make beautiful with their floral accessories. This was part of a whole day of photography their bridal bouquets with a model and creating beautiful flat sceneries with different objects and ribbons. This theory day is only part of the careers course.

Part of our floristry careers course is learning how to photograph your created flowers professionally. It is so important as a florist to present your work to your clients in a professional way like on your website, your flyers, social media etc. Next to all the beautiful creations of the florals we also focus on four theory days, how to photograph,how to brand your self, how to create amazing social media and how to calculate your products. All these elements are as important as being talented with your floral creations. We are very for front their with our program. And we invite special teachers in the field to teach those workshops.

For the Berlin Flower School flower choice stands at the essence of each course. We pride our selfs that we work with high- end flowers so that our students learn with the best materials. Each student gets one of these buckets and than we start designing. Of course they take all their floral designs home with them.

First day of the careers course. It was all about making wreaths. The students learned two techniques. One of them was the glueing technique wich you can do with floral glue when the flowers are fresh or a hot glue gun when the flowers are dry. This beauty was created with home dried flowers from the flower school.

Basket of happiness. This flower basket was part of our two day still life old masters flower course. Here we explore old baroque techniques next to analyzing colors and the decorations of floral design in photography context. Our next course is in October.

Stil Life Bouquet course with elements of old Dutch master paintings. Here at the Berlin Flower School we put a big emphasis on understanding colors and textures. This two day course is all about creating beautiful bouquets and photographing them in a stunning setting.
