Kushal Birari came to MASE with some experience from his native India where he had learned a few things about already. In friendly competition with his friend, our dear teacher Sudi Waghmare about award wins, he happened to be as good with prizes as with his craft: not only a Top Dog- but several awards winner, he was a student and stood out with his creative excellence. Kushal is humble and modest though his work is truly outstanding! After a few months in Jung von Matt Hamburg, he could fulfill his dream of landing a job in New York City - first for 360i and since October 2021 in Mother New York.

Kushal’s work got recognised at: Cannes / The One Show / Clio / D&AD / ADC Global / ADC Germany / ADC Switzerland / Webby / Effie / Young Guns 19 Finalist / Portfolio Night All Star – New York City

Happy ! Television has been around for 94 years now, and we couldn't let the day pass by without giving a little shoutout to the good old ads. Growing up, what was your favourite TV ad? You know, all those , , absolutely ones. We wanted to know, so, who better to ask, than our ? Have a swipe through their picks and let us know below what is that one ad that has always stuck with you 📺

And if you are wondering why this particular ad stuck with each of our students, have a read:

Brooke, - “The Snuggie commercial was a punchline. All my friends thought it was so funny… but also asked for one for Christmas.”

Simão, .barreto - “The way the campaign makes us care about an innate object is amazing. The music, the way the shots are set up, the environment - all of those pieces combined bring the lamp to life. I also love how simple the ex*****on is and the fact that the ad resolves with the breaking of the 4th wall - something very rare in film/advertising.”

Ertac, - “I was very young when I saw this ad and remember the men and women in their underwear and their funny dance moves. Especially the twist at the end where the guy is panicking and screaming to his friend to call him on his phone stuck to my head so hard that I knew exactly what to type into YouTube to find this ad.”

Amin, - "“Authenticity, Simplicity, And the drama that keeps you watching until the product is revealed.”

Marika, - “I don't know exactly why this ad stuck with me. It doesn't have particularly strong concept or visuals, but I feel like everything comes together beautifully in this clip and that is enough.”

Hussam - “Despite being the funniest ad of its time, it made everyone wonder, "If I were the creator, what other situations would I add?" Its exaggeration and random structure sparked the copywriter sense in everyone, not just the creatives. I would say that this ad is limitless and timeless."

Selina - “Everybody was always singing along, out of nowhere. These songs got stuck in your head.”
