We are proud to let you know that CUiB is now part of a bigger project: B.I.R.D. - Boxed Ideas for Responsible Development. We use the same playful methods to invite reflection, debates and strategies for sustainability, addressing kids and grownups alike. We remain faithful to the accuracy of information, but we believe the manner in which this information is transmitted makes a great difference for its impact.
Our methods preserve in our audience a sense of wonder, a fascination about the complexity of our world, a joy at learning more and courage to make a change. By wrapping everything in a box we add materiality to the abstract idea of sustainability, turning it into something you can put your finger on. Follow Boxed Ideas and unpack sustainability.

🐦 We believe there is significant potential in making research more transparent and in disseminating its outcomes to a much larger audience: Information opens people’s minds, and changes lives. Being researchers ourselves, we believe we have a responsibility to bring society forward.
🪺 That is why we created CUiB, a board-game that explains complex climate change challenges by following the paths of six migratory birds. The aim is to facilitate kids’ understanding of global issues, inspire empathy for nature, and foster collaboration.

We played CUiB in Chemnitz. We had a revigorating "train-the-trainer"
workshop in which we discussed with other educators about the benefits of playful learning. We were a group of at least 6 different nationalities and we spoke during the workshop Arabic, English, German and Romanian. It was the best intercultural experience so far. We so much looking forward for the next one!

Today we took CUiB to Germany as we attended the International Week of Chemnitz! Children of different nationalities played our game, we met inspiring people and all together enjoyed an amazing time.
