Another cycle ended with smiles! 😊

We concluded our year-long Facilitator Qualification Course in October with a reflective lab looking back on all the learnings gained throughout this time and talking about each participant’s future as a facilitator.

The course included modules on:
✨facilitation of participatory processes,
✨design and facilitation of online events,
✨facilitating conflict transformation,
✨group dynamics and effects,
✨dealing with complexity,
✨peer talks and,
✨peer practice where participants got to design and facilitate a practice session and receive feedback from their peers.

It was a journey full of learnings for all of us and was a pleasure to have such motivated, brilliant participants on board!

💜We also want to take a moment to thank our wonderful facilitators for all their efforts throughout this year and making this course possible Max Pijevskii Marta Dagargulia Tino Rasche Betka Polohova Wojcik Nataliya Trambovetska

🔎Navigating the world of facilitation demands a delicate balance: knowing when to guide and when to let the group shine. 💫

💡To strike this balance, facilitators must actively listen, observe group dynamics, and adapt their approach accordingly. They offer gentle guidance to keep discussions on track while fostering an environment where every voice is heard and valued. It's about empowering the group to collaborate and lead, while providing the necessary support and structure to ensure progress towards the shared goals.

🔎Delve into the timeless question of 'How do we learn?' through the lens of David Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory!

Born out of Kolb's research in the 1970s, this influential theory offers profound insights into the learning process. By emphasizing the interplay between concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation, Kolb's model provides a holistic understanding of learning. It suggests that true understanding emerges when individuals engage in a continuous cycle of experiencing, reflecting, thinking, and doing.

😉Save this post for later and follow us for more facilitation content.

🖼️Many thanks to Actu Tactu for the beautiful visual representation of this model.

❓"When I hear the word conflict, I …"🤯😰🫥😠🫠🫣🥲

💬How do you react? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Last week, we kicked off the workshop on Facilitating Conflict Transformation with this simple question. It's no secret that conflicts can stir up a mix of emotions, but they also present opportunities for growth and progress.

🔎Our facilitators, Linnea and Elyes, guided participants through understanding and analyzing conflict situations, equipping them with valuable tools to approach conflicts constructively in this two-session workshop.

💜A huge shoutout to Linnea, Elyes, and all our dedicated participants for their active engagement!
