RoboCup German Open 2026 is over — and what a rollercoaster it’s been! 🤖⚽️

Our NAO robots competed against a wide range of teams in both the Small Size and Middle Size divisions of the Humanoid Soccer League. After intense matches, tough challenges, and lots of learning along the way, we won the 3rd place in the Small Division of HSL!🥉

Now, we’re already looking ahead and getting ready for the RoboCup German Open 2026 is over — and what a rollercoaster it’s been! 🤖⚽️

Our soccer field with robots turned into a magnet for the public and sparked many conversations about , , and the of .

A big thank you to .robots, and Maike from for joining us in Berlin on such a short notice and working tirelessly for three days to make it all run so smoothly and successfully!

RoboCup 2025 is officially over! What an amazing week full of intense and exciting games, valuable learnings and new connections!

We're heading home full of ideas, energy and momentum! We're proud of our team and everything we've accomplished! 🔥🥳🤖

🏆⚽🤖 RoboCup Day 3 Update!

We played the final two games:
- vs. : 1:0 (we won!🥳)
- vs. (Quarterfinal): 1:2 (we lost)

The last game was incredibly exciting and nerve-wracking! In the first half, our goalie got delocalized and ended up defending the opponent’s goal (see the first photo). Fortunately, we still managed to score while he was standing there!⚽
SPQR secured their winning goal in the final 10 seconds, just before the game would’ve gone to a penalty shootout. So close!🔥

Today we’ll wrap things up with our traditional friendly match against the Nao Devils from Dortmund and cheer on the final games.🏆🤖⚽

🏆On the second day of the championship we played two games:
- vs. .robots 0:1 (we lost)
- vs. : 1:0 (we won!)

We were also assigned to make the head referee and game controller for 4 games, so it was overall a busy day with lots of action and learnings!🏃🏼‍♀️⚽🤖

We played our final games today and now we're slowly catching up on sharing what happened in the last 3 days of the championship 🏆

- vs. 0:0
- vs. 4:0 (we won)
- vs. 0:5 (we lost)

We also assigned our newer members to be the head referee and game controller and it went pretty well!

It was a very busy and tiring day, but the lunch break with the ocean view made it a bit nicer🌊
