It was an honour to welcome Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, to CODE University for a fireside chat with our students.

Moderated by our CEO , the conversation spanned leadership, innovation, and what it really takes to reinvent a legacy industry, the kind of first hand insight our Digital Pioneers learn best from.

Thank you, Klaus, for your generosity and time.

That's a wrap on SummerUP 2026. 🏆

One week. A 0→1 startup accelerator built and run by our own students, and honestly, it delivered beyond what any of us expected.

Eight days ago these were just ideas. Today they're real companies, built by people who showed up with a problem worth solving and didn't leave until they'd shipped.

Pitch day said it all: the top 30 pitched our jury, the top 10 took the big Delta stag, and the judges loved the projects so much they couldn't stop at three. They added a 4th place. That's how strong this cohort was. 👏

Congrats to our winners → TellHallo, Sift and GoPaula.

Thank you to our incredible jury, you gave every team sharp, honest feedback and cared enough to make four winners out of three. 🙌

A big shoutout to Zaid and , who picked their own 3 winners, the teams tackling real graph problems and putting Neo4j to work. 💚

And none of this happens without the people behind the scenes. Thank you to our students Tjark and Amelie, and everyone who helped organize and run this whole week. You built the room where all of it could happen.

This is what Digital Pioneers looks like. See you next year. 🚀

We're five days into SummerUP, and it's exactly what a student-built accelerator should feel like.

Quick reminder of what this is: not a faculty program, not an outside partner. One of our own students built an entire one-week startup accelerator, where anyone with an idea gets seven days to take it from zero to one, and learn how to actually sell it. Externals welcome, no permission required.

Day one opened to a packed room. Since then it's been workshop after workshop, go-to-market, marketing in the age of agentic AI, direct sales, all circling one idea you can even read off the merch: sell before you build. Because at SummerUP you don't just ship a product, you figure out how to get people to use it.

It all builds toward Friday: a 10,000€ Pitch Day at The Delta Campus, where this week's teams pitch for real.

This is what we mean by Digital Pioneers, students who don't wait for the future to be handed to them. They build the room where it happens, and bring everyone else along.

Big shoutout to the whole team that made this possible and all the speakers for sharing their wisdom!

Come watch them pitch on Friday!

One of our students didn't enter a pitch competition. He built one.

Meet PitchTank, a startup pitch series created, run and hosted by Markuss, a CODE student.

The premise: bring your startup idea, get 10 minutes to pitch and 5 to defend it, in front of a live room and a panel of judges, all the way to a finale.

The finalists weren't hypothetical. Real ventures, an AI marketing operating system, an influencer platform, and a TikTok Shop tool, all judged on clarity, storytelling and vision.

The winner: SpreadableAI. 🏆

This is what "learning by building" actually looks like, students shipping companies, and students building the stage for them to pitch on.

Massive respect to Markuss for making it happen, and to everyone who put their idea on the line. 👏

The future showed up at CODE — and it was wearing a headset. 🥽

This summer, we hosted the Berlin finale of XR Creator Con — billed as the world's biggest AI + XR hackathon. Creators, developers and founders from 100+ countries, one campus, and a whole lot of spatial computing.

Vision Pro. Quest. Talks on where XR meets AI. Live demos, hands-on builds, and — obviously — a table full of Eevees.

When your campus sits in the heart of Berlin's tech scene, the frontier doesn't stay online. It walks in, straps on a headset, and starts building.

Proud to have hosted it. Huge respect to the XR Creator Con team for making it happen. 🙌

Our students didn't attend a hackathon. They built one.

Earlier this year, 280 designers, builders and founders spent a day at the XDesign Hackathon — around one thesis: in a world where you can build anything with AI, great design is the difference.

Team-matching, a "Vibe Coding" sprint, a jury, a panel on where AI is taking design, and pitches that turned prompts into real products. All organised and run by our own students.

This is what Digital Pioneers do — they don't wait for the future, they build the room where it happens.

Huge respect to the student team behind it. 👏 (Noë Hecker, Tara Schlosser, Lilly Wallawitsch)

Last week, our campus turned into the middle of Berlin's AI scene. 🤖

We hosted ClawCamp Berlin — a room packed with founders and engineers from Amazon, Meta, DESY, 42 Berlin and dozens of startups. Not our event (full credit to the ClawCamp team!), but exactly the kind of energy we love having through our doors.

Because when your campus sits in the heart of Berlin's tech ecosystem, the future isn't something you read about. It walks in, grabs a coffee, and starts a conversation. The world we want our Digital Pioneers growing up in. 🚀

Some of the best products we use at CODE weren’t built by a vendor. They were built by our students. 💙

Moving to Germany means Anmeldung, a tax ID, a blocked bank account, health insurance and almost none of it in English. It’s the part of student life nobody warns you about.

So a team from our first Master’s cohort built hallostu.com: a step-by-step guide that walks incoming internationals through all of it, in plain English.

It’s live now and part of how we welcome new students at CODE.

It’s the first product built entirely by our Master’s students, solving a problem they lived through themselves.

From CODE students, for CODE students.

Real respect to the team behind it — Gonçalo Deus, Zach Parrish, George Nikabadze and Jure Cerkez. 👏
