Here's a heartwarming performance from Natalie Greffel. Her performance is so sincere and real that when she finished playing, our crew cheered as loud as a sold out Emmauskirche night. Natalie creates some kind of magic with her music. You will feel the same when you see her focused and united moments in this performance.

Since the beginning of the corona lock down I started playing live streamed solo-jams, almost every day at midnight on my IG page. From time to time I want to share collection of best of these jams on my FB live stream.Join me tonight when I introduce you to my setup and share some music with you.

If you want to get access to an archive of these solo jams, follow me here : www.patreon.com/studnitzky

After an initial shock, and the complete cancellation of all XJAZZ activities in 6 countries, the XJAZZ team has decided to bundle the tremendous creativity that now prevails in the jazz scene and bring it to the virtual stage.
XJAZZ recorded and filmed concerts by musicians during a session lasting several days. Together with a large collection of videos of the artists who have played at the XJAZZ festival in the past years or would have played this year, a fascinating cross-section of the genre in the whole XJAZZ spectrum has been created. The XJAZZ online festival will be running several social media channels simultaneously on April 29 and 30. Concerts will be streamed on FB and youtube.com/xjazz, while FB lab will feature interviews and panels. On Zoom there will be an online backstage party and spontaneous jam session. In XJAZZ style, it will all be very spontaneous and creative. The XJAZZ online festival will stream in cooperation with its international partners in Sweden, Turkey, Iceland, Russia and Belarus.

XJAZZ-Festival 2020 wegen Pandemie abgesagt

Euer XJAZZ Team

English version:

XJAZZ Festival 2020 canceled due to pandemic
The threat posed by the Covid-19 coronavirus now affects the whole of Germany and the authorities recommend or have the right to suspend public and private meetings and to warn the population of the risk of participation.
The XJAZZ Festival also sees itself responsible for protecting the health of the public, the artists and everyone involved in the face of this threat. We therefore decided to cancel XJAZZ Festival Berlin in May 2020.
We are currently making sure that we can offer all ticket holders an exchange of tickets for the XJAZZ Edition 2021.
We are in contact with the already confirmed artists. Many are ready to make up for their concerts at our 2021 festival.
However, we are also working on offering other forms of reimbursement if someone prefers to cancel their tickets.
Thanks to everyone who doesn’t want to have their tickets reimbursed for the time being to support us because this decision for XJAZZ has enormous financial consequences in addition to our grief and disappointment.
Given the societal challenges of this pandemic, the continued existence of a jazz festival is of course not a priority. Even so, our future is now in jeopardy. You can help us with donations.
XJAZZ is a non-profit company and has the possibility to issue donation receipts.

Donation account: XJAZZ gGmbH DE08 1001 7997 4195 6840 30

We hope for your understanding and thank the festival goers, the artists, the team members and everyone who is close to us. Your support is very important to us, without it it couldn't go on!
We hope that our society is solidary and prudent enough to deal with this extreme situation.

Your XJAZZ team
