Day 17 | Avik’s Story 🇩🇪❤️

He was once told that a German public university wasn’t possible for him.
Today, he’s studying at one and has gone on to earn an opportunity at CERN in Switzerland. 🇩🇪➡️🇨🇭

On Day 17 of our Germany Tour, we finally got to sit down with Avik Dubey from West Bengal, and this meeting was a special one for us.

When Avik first came across Amratpal A Vision, he was close to giving up on a dream he had carried for years.

Despite having a strong academic background with an 8+ CGPA in Mechanical Engineering, his earlier Germany journey had left him with public-university rejections and the impression that a private university might be his only realistic option.

But something inside him still said, try once more.

That’s when he found us.

After his counselling with our team, including Ms. Bhumi and Ms. Amanpreet, we looked at his profile again, understood what he actually wanted and helped him pursue the public-university route he had almost stopped believing was possible.

And he got in. ❤️

Today, Avik is pursuing his Master’s in Mechatronics at Hochschule Nordhausen, a German public university.

But his story didn’t stop with Germany.

There was another dream he had carried for years: CERN in Switzerland. 🇨🇭

And watching him earn an opportunity there while building his future in Germany made this journey even more special for all of us.

When we met him personally on Day 17, we weren’t meeting a “successful admission.”

We were meeting someone whose journey we had watched from uncertainty and disappointment to confidence, independence and achievement.

And somewhere between all those counselling calls, applications, doubts and celebrations, Avik stopped feeling like just a student.

He became family. ❤️

Avik, we may have helped you find the right direction, but you’re the one who walked the road.

Day 16 in Germany 🇩🇪 | Berlin International College

Another meaningful stop on our Germany Tour 2026. we visited Berlin International College (BIC), an English-taught Studienkolleg pathway that has become an important part of the Germany journey for some of our students.

What makes this visit special for us is the relationship we’ve built over the years. For us, being a partner is never only about sending an application. It’s about staying connected with the student, understanding their progress, meeting them here in Germany and being there for what comes next.

We’re grateful to the BIC team for their continued trust in Amratpal A Vision and for recognising the involvement and support we provide to our students throughout their journey. 🤝🇩🇪

Day 16 in Germany 🇩🇪 | A moment we’ll carry home with us. ❤️

Some moments make all the travelling, early mornings, trains, university visits and countless conversations completely worth it.

Today, Eurasia Institute Berlin invited us for a special brunch and honoured our team with certificates of appreciation for our mentorship, commitment and guidance to students building their future in Germany.

For us, this recognition means much more than a certificate.

Behind it are years of students trusting us with their dreams, parents trusting us with their children, and our team working every day to make sure that our responsibility doesn’t end with an admission or a visa.

This Germany Tour 2026 was about exactly that. Coming back, meeting our students, listening to their experiences, visiting the institutions they study at and continuing to guide them even after they reach Germany.

We’re deeply grateful to Eurasia Institute for this recognition and continued support, and even more grateful to every student and family who has trusted us along the way.

Awards are special, but seeing our students succeed will always be our biggest achievement. ❤️

Day 15 in Germany 🇩🇪 | Exploring more study options in Berlin

Today we visited BSBI and Gisma University of Applied Sciences to understand their campuses, programs and the different pathways they offer to international students.

While our focus has always been strongly on German public universities, we also believe students should understand the different study options available in Germany before making a decision.

For students looking for English-taught programs, private institutions can offer another pathway, with different fee structures, admission requirements and, depending on the institution and program, German or international degree-awarding structures.

Our goal during this Germany journey is simple: visit, understand, compare and then guide our students according to their individual profile and long-term goals.

Day 14 in Germany 🇩🇪 | A full-circle moment in Berlin ❤️

Today we visited Eurasia Institute, a place that has a very special connection with our journey. Mr. Amratpal himself studied German here back in 2010, and today, years later, many of our students continue their German language journey here.

After travelling across Germany and meeting our students, one thing has become even clearer: German is not just a language, it can become an important part of your success in Germany.

From university life to internships, working-student opportunities and building a long-term career, learning German can open so many doors.

Coming back here with our team and meeting our students made Day 14 extra special.

One student’s Germany journey can become a roadmap for the next student. 🇩🇪❤️

He came to Germany after his A-Levels with Amratpal A Vision.

Today, he is studying at Technical University of Munich, TUM, currently ranked among the world’s Top 25 universities. 🎓🇩🇪

But this reel is not only about getting into TUM.

What makes me happier is what happens AFTER admission.

He went through the complete journey himself.

Choosing the right course.
Moving to Germany.
Understanding Munich.
Adjusting to student life.
Learning from his own mistakes.

And now, he wants to use that experience to help the students coming after him.

Day 13 of our Germany Tour took us to RWTH Aachen University, one of Germany’s leading technical universities and a member of the prestigious TU9 alliance.

And Aachen welcomed us with rain, which somehow made the campus experience even better.

The highlight of our visit was meeting our student Diksha Chaudhary, who is currently in her third semester of Bachelor’s in Business and IT at RWTH Aachen.

We walked around the campus with her, spoke about her studies, student life and her experience so far in Germany. These conversations always mean a lot to us because we remember when Germany was just an idea for many of our students. Today, we get to meet them at universities like RWTH Aachen and see how far they have come.

Over the years, we have also seen many of our students study and graduate from RWTH Aachen, so coming back here always feels special.

For us at Amratpal A Vision, this has never been only about getting an admission or a visa. We want to remain a part of our students’ journey after they reach Germany, through university, career and everything that comes in between.

We are not just a consultancy to our students. We become a family away from home, and their success becomes a part of our story too.

Day 12 of our Germany Tour took us to the Freshman Institute of FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences. 🇩🇪

This visit was special because our association with the Freshman Institute goes back to 2019. Since then, we have guided many students from India and across the GCC to start their journey in Germany through this pathway.

The Freshman Program offers international students the opportunity to begin their studies in English and prepare for their further university journey in Germany. Students also have access to in-house accommodation, which makes settling into a new country much easier.

We spent the day meeting the Freshman Institute team, visiting the campus, discussing our students and their progress, and enjoying lunch together.

For us, seeing a place where we have been sending students for so many years personally is always special. We know the journey these students take before reaching Germany, so seeing them here and watching their progress makes it even more meaningful.
