By drawing, the spectators participate in the performance! The concept and seminars are designed by the dance performer MARIA DE FARIA and the artist PEDDA BOROWSKI They examine various aspects in artistic dance performances as well as academic artistic performances. In the course of one evening (from 6-9 p.m.) one will focus during the performance on academic artistic explanations about anatomy,
as well as the pictorial depiction of movement and the aspects of the architectural space. During the dance performance the draughtsmen and women will then concentrate on the artistic realization of the themes: body, rhythm and movement. Furthermore the dance sessions will be stimulated by literary themes. The performances is based on chapters of the book Água Viva by the Brazilian author CLARICE LISPECTOR. One seminar has a duration of six weeks with one appointment per week. Furthermore there will be events on weekends in and outside of Berlin on offer. Beginning on a friday midday these workshops will end in the late afternoon on sunday. Entrance fee for the six weeks performance seminar: 130,- € for the weekend seminar in Berlin: 130,- € for the weekend seminars outside Berlin around 260,- € (including accommodation and food for two nights) In spring a five day seminar is planned on Sardinia. Single nights can be attended for 25,- € in case there is still free spots. The communication during the seminars will be bilingual (german and english). Registration via e-mail is obligatory.
