AND Berlin friends - I'm also excited to share the soft launch of something else that's been wanting to come through: 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
Last summer I was at a community gathering in a beautiful farmhouse in the countryside, and we were scheduling the events for that evening. It so happened that I hoped to lead a Primal Play session at the same time some brilliant musicians wanted to hold a jam session in the same space.
I said, 𝑤ℎ𝑦 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒? and without me realising it, Primal Presence was born.
Primal Presence is a fusion of Primal Play with live sound journeys curated by embodied, intuitive musicians - which allows for an incredibly deep and potent expansion in the richness of the fields that are created.
For me, the name shift reflects that whilst play can be a central factor in the magical interactions that take place when we drop into instinct and attunement, what truly allows us to welcome all of ourselves is the quality of presence we show up with - which can allow for shyness, awkwardness, fire, playfulness or countless other realities to exist in that moment.
Last year collaboration was one of the most beautiful expansions in my facilitation journey, and probably the one I'm most proud of is what John and I created together - TheAlivening.
Since then, John has gone on his own incredible journey of facilitated musicianship in the form of The Sound Field, so I couldn't be more thankful that he will be the one providing the soundscapes for us to move with on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡.
I've been lucky enough to find a really beautiful, intimate space in Kreuzberg for a small number of us to weave a field of beauty and connection, showing up with all we are, in service of authentic connection.
