This inclusive choir welcomes everyone, regardless of age or singing experience.

The repertoire includes traditional Kurdish and Turkish folk songs, world music, and new arrangements created through group improvisation.

Lessons focus on vocal blending, rhythm, harmony, and emotional connection.

Participants will also explore frame drum rhythms (daf, bendir) and body percussion. The choir promotes community, cultural understanding, and creative expression through the shared language of music.

Art in all its forms, from all around the world, can come together in one place, and that is exactly the foundation of our academy. We focus on music and dance, bringing together traditions from different cultures into a shared space, through both individual and group lessons taught by specialised teachers.

From this idea, we wanted to expand the same spirit into something different: an open door experience for a wider audience, especially families. The day began with a variety of live performances, giving people a first introduction to different styles. After that, if something caught their interest, they could explore it further through workshops.
We would like to thank Janine Wolter, BezirksstadtrĂ€tin von Neukölln fĂŒr Bildung, Kultur und Sport, for attending the event and visiting us to learn more about the day and our academy.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and shared this day with us, to the management team for organising the event

We would like to take a moment to share the names of the teachers who participated in this event and express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them for their dedication and contribution.
