English with Bea

Fun, personalised English lessons for private individuals and businesses. I've taught English since 2009 in many different countries (CZ, ES, FR, UK, RU & DE).

I'm kind of a language geek (I studied linguistics at undergraduate and master's level) and I love teaching and learning languages. I've studied Spanish, French, Russian and German, so I can help with a lot of problems English learners have from the perspective of a language learner myself. I can also help students who speak these languages natively because I can see where mistakes come from when they translate from their mother tongue. I think that the most important thing you can practice when learning a language is communication. You need to speak so you can use the things you learned! This can be scary for a lot of people - it definitely is for me when I try to speak German to people I don't know - so it is very important to me that my students feel comfortable and enjoy taking classes with me. My students tell me that I'm very friendly and easy to talk to. I hope you think so too!
