Our wrap-up from Marché du Film 2026. On May 13th, we co-organized and supported two key events focused on technological innovation and international market trends:

👉 In collaboration with the China Film Association, the panel "Golden Rooster Roundtable: Optimizing Artistic Creativity & Production Workflows in the Era of AI" brought together Chinese and European experts to discuss using AI as a creative tool while preserving the auteur's unique voice. The session also showcased five innovative Chinese formats and featured insights from YIN Hong, LI Wenyu, Lok Kam Yuen, Tim Deussen, and WANG Zibin, moderated by Cristiano Bortone.

👉 China’s New Film Trends Mixer @ Cannes 2026, an afternoon networking session hosted by the China Film Co-production Corporation (CFCC) and supported by Bridging Visions, bringing together global professionals to discuss new market opportunities.

Bridging Visions (formerly Bridging the Dragon) is happy to collaborate with the China Film Association to present an insightful dialogue during this year's Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes.

This panel will bring together Chinese and European experts in new media to explore the importance of the filmmaker’s voice in the digital age. Our panelists will discuss how technical evolution can sustain artistic creation without losing the auteur’s unique vision, alongside a showcase of five groundbreaking Chinese examples and formats that use AI as a tool for creativity.

Bridging Visions was delighted to be part of the 2nd Producers Connect at FILMART 2026 HKTDC 香港貿發局: four days of inspiring conversations, new connections, and meaningful exchange across the industry.

Bridging Visions is honored to support the 2nd Producers Connect, taking place during the 30th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) on 17–20 March 2026.

Jointly organised by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB), Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), Hong Kong Film Development Council (HKFDC), andHong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) HKTDC 香港貿發局, Producers Connect brings together producers and industry professionals to build a valuable global network in Asia, promoting connectivity, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

Expect co-production panels, fireside chats on the latest trends, matchmaking meetings with international film funds and institutions, and hands-on workshops on IP development and film financing.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at European Film Market - EFM for the European–Asian Film Forum.

Bridging Visions (formerly Bridging the Dragon) joined forces once again with the European Film Market – EFM to present a new edition of our long-running forum. This year’s program focused on an industry in transition. New platforms, changing audience habits, and evolving production models are reshaping the film landscape, with many of the most dynamic shifts emerging from Asia.

We were truly encouraged by the depth of the exchange and the strong interest in practical Asia–Europe collaboration. Thank you to our speakers, partners, and all participants for the generous sharing and thoughtful questions. We look forward to turning this dialogue into new connections and future projects.

Looking back at Cannes, we were pleased to support two key events that spotlighted opportunities for European-Asian collaboration at the Marché du Film 2025.

🎬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
Organized the Mongolian National Film Council, this event introduced four Mongolian film projects in development to an international audience, alongside an overview of Mongolia’s growing support schemes for international collaboration, including incentives of up to 45% reimbursement for foreign productions shot in the country.

The panel was moderated by Silvia Wong.
