AMSE - The Association of Medical Schools in Europe

The Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE) follows with concerns the war actions of the Russian Federation in the Ukraine, including the involvement of Belarus and expresses concerns for the safety, health and well-being of all civilians impacted by the crisis.

Aa a result the AMSE Executive Committee resolves to suspend the AMSE membership of Russian and Belarusian medical schools until further notice.

TEACH PROJECT: THE MIDTERM MEETING
The meeting took place online on 9 June 2020. We talked about the implementation of the outstanding tasks and planned the activities for the rest of the project, now extended, due to the COVID-19, until 30 April 2021.

On December 25th 2019, Peter Dieter died peacefully in his home town Dresden, Germany, in the presents of his family. He was a leader in medical education with national and international reputation and President of the Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE) since 2014.

In December 2019 AMSE played host to the mid-term meeting of the Erasmus+ TEACH project. The four project partners met to talk about the standards of teaching physiotherapists and the progress of work on the teaching materials as well as to plan dissemination activities and future actions. It was a pleasure to have you all in Berlin!
