REGARDING THE PASSING OF MR. AUGUSTINE AYENSU DONKOR

It is with profound sadness that the National Union of Ghana Students – Germany Chapter (NUGS‑Germany) learned of the passing of Mr. Augustine Ayensu Donkor, a 19-year-old Ghanaian student in Düsseldorf. NUGS‑Germany expresses its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

We have engaged the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Berlin regarding the matter and have received confirmation that the Embassy is actively liaising with the relevant German authorities while providing consular support to the family.

We kindly ask members of the Ghanaian student community to refrain from speculation and to allow the appropriate authorities to complete their investigations.

NUGS‑Germany remains committed to the welfare and safety of Ghanaian students in Germany and will share any relevant updates that become publicly available through official channels.

We join the wider Ghanaian community in mourning this tragic loss and extend our thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
