its still a challange to fold it after in the right way … but fortunately there are helping hands on the mat❤️

⚔️the 2026’s kashima—no—tachi seminar in châtillon was a special one:

👉intensive bodywork and powerful drills to understand the kihon,
👉interesting lectures and individual studies of the basic-principles (kiri-wari and kesa-giri) —
👉as well as further explorations leading to understand the profound systematics and richness of the kashima series,
👉challenging 1:1 practice during the free training sessions inbetween keiko.

💪During these intensive 4 days we had to deal with personal limits and obstacles in many ways. felt encouraged by the magic atmosphere, which was created by the engaged teaching of aoki sensei. The instructor from shiseikan/tokyo was demonstrating and sharing his deep knowledge of budo — in a humble and breathtaking attitude. In diffenrent group settings the participants came together to practice, get uplifted to another level of physical education and internal progress. while several difficulties and questions had been mastered individually, happy faces of released /transformed struggelings met each other.

🙏 in the name of .berlin and personally .flows — i would like to deeply thank Aoki sensei for the inspiration and his tireless presence all over the seminar, josette nickels-grolier and her dojo for organizing the event and making it take place in such a pleasent way, and all the participants for the transforming practice!
