Dating and gliding are two activities that, despite serving different purposes, share several structural similarities. Both typically begin with careful preparation, depend heavily on external conditions, and require patience as well as the ability to deal with setbacks. In both cases, success cannot be guaranteed and is largely influenced by timing, communication, and a realistic assessment of the situation.

The primary differences lie in the fact that gliding generally follows the laws of physics, whereas dating appears to involve additional variables that have not yet been fully understood. Furthermore, an unsuccessful flight usually ends with a safe landing, while an unsuccessful date often concludes with the phrase, “You’re really nice, but…”

A comprehensive scientific explanation for either phenomenon has yet to be established. 😉
